The Sunshine State is Calling Your NAME. The 2017 Conference Committee is busy planning a very productive, engaging, and fun experience for all those who hear their NAME being called to participate.
This years conference will be held in sunny, South Florida, where you can enjoy the fresh ocean breeze and beautiful sunrise, while networking and communicating with others.
Fort Lauderdale is a city on Florida's southeastern coast, which is known for its beaches and boating canals. The city is embraced by the Atlantic Ocean, New River and an array of scenic inland waterways- known as the "Venice of America".
This 15th Annual Conference will offer you beautiful scenery in this fun-in-the-sun city and a desire for new information that will motivate you to take what you learn and put it into action back home in your school based health service program.

The National Alliance for Medicaid in Education (NAME), Inc., invites you to expand your participation in our Medicaid in Education community by becoming a 2017 sponsor. The sponsor levels and corresponding benefits remain the same as they were in 2016.
NAME's purpose is to provide leadership; promote integrity, collaboration and success; and facilitate a network to share information among our members. Our membership represents state Medicaid and education agencies, as well as local education agency staff with programmatic responsibility for administering Medicaid claiming for health-related special education services and Medicaid administrative activities performed by public schools. We are a steadily growing national not-for-profit organization that has built its reputation on providing timely, accurate, and valid information from the highest quality sources.
NAME continues to increase its efforts at the national, state and local levels in order to refine, improve and enhance the ability of local schools to access Medicaid. During the past year NAME was asked and accepted the opportunity to co-chair the Save Medicaid in Schools Coalition of approximately 80 national and state organizations that are vested in the potential outcomes of the new administration’s health care reform efforts. NAME has also played a leadership role in the Health & Human Services and the Department of Education’s “Healthy Students, Promising Futures Collaborative” which is focused on expanding access to school-based health services for children enrolled in Medicaid.
If you were a previous sponsor, we hope that you will continue to see the value of our past and current efforts. If you have not been a supporter in the past, we hope that you recognize that our mission of advocating for program integrity for school-based Medicaid reimbursement, as well as our effort to provide leadership, promote collaboration and facilitate a network to share information is in the best interest of all stakeholders. It is our belief these efforts will help assure a long lasting funding stream that allows schools to better meet the educational and medical needs of our nation’s children.
I am hopeful your organization will be able to support our efforts in the next year with a generous sponsorship. The scope of NAME’s efforts for 2017-18 and beyond is highly dependent on your support.
